Digital Measurement and Scanning
In traditional dentistry, tooth and jaw measurements are taken with pulps inside metal spoons in procedures such as dentures, veneers, fillings. This method can trigger the gag reflex in patients, as well as causing the measurement taken not to always give accurate results. In digital dentistry, teeth are scanned with an optical camera and transferred to a computer environment in 3D and performed by a 3D scanning method.
The Advantages of This Method
The patient is compatible.
The measurement error margin is low compared to traditional methods.
Archiving of all cases is provided.
Three-dimensional scanning has started to be used in most branches of dentistry.
